The project focused on improving how interior designers browse Schumacher’s extensive product catalogue by redesigning the website’s landing and product listing pages to make product discovery more intuitive and efficient. Research revealed that users struggled to refine searches and often abandoned the process due to overwhelming results and limited filtering options. The redesign addressed these challenges by enhancing search and filtering, improving navigation, and streamlining the sample ordering process. Key features included dynamic landing pages, persistent and quick filters, a flexible grid view, and optimised performance through lazy loading. These enhancements simplified exploration, reduced friction, and enabled designers to find and order products more easily—resulting in a more engaging and satisfying browsing experience.
